The University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Baltimore Washington Medical Center sponsors a monthly support group designed to help people with diabetes and their family members better understand living with diabetes. The Living with Diabetes support group meets bimonthly on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and on the third Thursday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Both groups meet in the Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at UM BWMC located at 300 Hospital Drive, Suite 223. Upcoming 2014 dates for the Wednesday group include: January 15, March 19, May 21, July 16, September 17 and November 19. Upcoming 2014 dates for the Thursday group include: February 20, April 17, June 19, August 21, October 16 and December 18. The support group is open to all people with diabetes and their family members. Meetings are free of charge and reservations are not requested.
