DIABETES AND ENDOCRINOLOGY CENTER AT

The University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is offering classes on healthy living through nutrition and exercise. A diabetes educator will lead a one-hour class discussion and offer suggestions on how to make simple nutrition and exercise changes to help achieve weight loss, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and prevent diabetes.


            Healthy Living: Nutrition and Exercise will be offered on July 3 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., July 11 from 9 to 10 a.m. and July 30 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center located at 300 Hospital Drive, Suite 223.

            This class is recommended for anyone interested in learning more about how eating healthier and being more active can affect overall health and wellness. The cost of the class is $25 (cash or check accepted). Reservations are requested (select one date only).
