Dollar Store Customer Robbed In Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie woman reported that she was robbed outside the Dollar Tree store at 6651 Ritchie Highway. The hold-up happened about 2 p.m. Saturday at the business and she believed the robber had a weapon, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The victim told officers she was approached from behind by a man in the store parking lot who demanded money. She complied and the suspect fled the scene; the woman then drove home and called police.

Officers searched for the robber in the area of the Dollar Tree but they were unable to find a witness or video surveillance footage of the robber. The only description the victim could provide is that the suspect wore a dark colored hat.
