Drive-Through Liquor Store Hold-Up Reported In Glen Burnie

Police say a customer at Frank's Den in Glen Burnie was assaulted by a Severn man.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say a customer at Frank's Den liquor store in Glen Burnie was assaulted by a Severn man. The attempted robbery and assault were reported just after midnight Monday at the business, 1814 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.

The victim told police that while he was in his vehicle at the drive-through lane, he was approached by a manwho demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect reportedly assaulted him, then fled on foot.

Several officers searched the area, and with the assistance of a police canine, located the suspect — identified as DaSean Carlos Watson, 26, of the 40 block of Queenstown Road in Severn — hiding in the backyard of a residence on Mayo Road.

Watson was arrested and charged with attempted robbery and second degree assault.
