GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 72-year-old man was getting out of his vehicle Monday night at the Home Depot on Mountain Road when he was assaulted with an unknown object by a man. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the victim was beaten unconscious. When the man regained consciousness shortly after 8:50 p.m., he discovered his wallet had been emptied of all his money. The man drove himself home and a family member called for medical assistance. He was transported to BWMC for treatment. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the police department at 410-222-6135.
