Employee Shot, Another Assaulted During Glen Burnie Liquor Store Robbery: Police

One employee was shot and another assaulted when a known customer robbed a liquor store in Glen Burnie, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers are searching for Vosahwn Argen Sample, 47, who they say robbed and shot an employee of Champion Liquors at 7385 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard Thursday afternoon.

The incident unfolded at approximately 3:30 p.m. The clerks recognized the suspect as a customer and refused to give him money. The suspect remained in the business for 10 more minutes, then pulled out a gun and forced the employees into the business office. The suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Vosahwn Argen Sample, hit one of the employees with his gun and demanded cash again. The employees showed him where the cash was at, then Sample shot one of the employees and left with the cash.

Sample has an active arrest warrant charging him with the shooting and armed robbery. Anyone with any information about this crime or Sample's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
