The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation announced it will host an exclusive event with University of Maryland head basketball coaches Mark Turgeon and Brenda Frese on Tuesday, October 9 from 5:30 – 8:00m p.m. at Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Md. “An Evening with Mark Turgeon and Brenda Frese” includes a bull roast-style menu featuring pit beef and ham, fried chicken, hot dogs and burgers, as well as beer, wine, and soda beverage options. Prior to the program, guests will have a chance to participate in a meet and greet with both Turgeon and Frese. All attendees will automatically be entered to win a very special door prize, announced the night of the event. During the program, Turgeon and Frese will discuss their past seasons with their respective teams, expectations for the upcoming season, new recruits and more. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.
