BWMC to Host Touch-A-Truck

Baltimore Washington Medical Center is hosting “Touch-a-Truck” on Saturday, October 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Area residents will have the opportunity to see, touch, interact and learn about a variety of things on wheels including service and emergency vehicles and construction and public safety equipment. Health screenings and education will also be offered for the entire family, including free flu vaccines for children (six months of age and older) and adults. Activities will include face painting and balloon animals. The Baltimore Ravens and The Baltimore Orioles mascots will be in attendance. Refreshments and promotional items will be available. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the North County Emergency Outreach Network.


Touch-a-Truck is free of charge and reservations are not required. This event will be held rain or shine. Baltimore Washington Medical Center is located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie.
