DaySpring Presbyterian Church presents The Baltimore Canon in concert. The Baltimore Canon is a chamber orchestra made up mostly of local Japanese musicians. They are directed and led by Yuri Sher on cello. Mr. Sher was a solo cellist with the Baltimore Symphone, and has collaborated musically with Yo-Yo Ma, Isaac Stern and other notable musicians.
They will perform a variety of music including:
- Christmas Concerto (A. Corelli)
- Winter from "The Four Seasons" (A. Vivaldi)
- Trumpet Sonat in D (H. Purcell)
- Holberg Suite (E. Grieg)
- Ave Maria (G. Caccini)
- The First Noel, The March of the Three Kings, O Holy Night
