Community Connections Day and Constituent Open House

Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold invites constituents to participate in a Community Connections Day and Constituent Open House on Wednesday, Feb. 16.

"Over the last five years of this Administration, we have created an open-door policy for citizens to access their government," County Executive Leopold said in a press release. "These events are a great opportunity to see firsthand what our agencies do, and also solve problems by working directly with those in charge."

Residents will be able to learn about various county services. Presentations throughout the evening include how utilities are serviced and maintained, what youth recreation programs are available and how to help your neighborhood prevent crime.

Anyone who would like to discuss an individual concern should write the County Executive in advance so the staff can do the necessary research on the topic.

Meetings are on a first come, first served basis. The snow date is Feb. 23.
