The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center (AACRC) is looking for local artists who believe they have the skills to be the organization's Fourth Annual Annapolis Idol. The event is scheduled for Mar. 6, 2011, at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie.
Finalists for the event will be selected during free auditions held every Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. for five weeks starting Jan. 11, 2011, at The Whiskey, 1803 West Street in Annapolis. Contestants need to register by 7:45 pm.
Contestants must be at least 18 years old by the date of the event and must be able to perform a Top 40/mainstream pop song live to music they select and coordinate with our professional DJ. Finalists must be available to appear at the March 6 event.

AACRC helps in the non-violent resolution of personal and community conflict, offering mediation, anger management training, prisoner counseling/training and other services.
