Learn about healthy eating while you shop during "Good Food for Good Health Weekends" at local supermarkets.
Health educators will answer questions on nutrition and give out free low-fat recipes and other healthy-eating information. Healthy recipes and nutrition and physical activity tips will also be placed throughout the stores.
The events are sponsored by the Learn To Live program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Health. The "Good Food for Good Health Weekends" will be at Box N'Save in Glen Burnie on Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Learn To Live program encourages people to make healthy lifestyle choices, such as eating a healthy diet and getting regular cancer screenings, in order to reduce their risk of cancer and other serious illnesses.
