Do you know someone who always goes the extra mile for others? Someone who has performed a heroic deed, perhaps at risk to themselves? Someone who's very way of life is Service Above Self?
The Rotary Club of Glen Burnie has created a new, exciting way for the Anne Arundel Community to honor those in the Anne Arundel community who perform "Service Above Self."
There is now a forum to publicly and officially recognize those exceptional, service-oriented people who have performed enormous service and made a positive difference in the lives of others! The first annual "Service Above Self Community Awards Dinner" will be 21 March 2012, at Michael's 8th Avenue. It begins at 5:30 PM, and tickets are $40.

Business and Community Leaders have been invited to submit nominations for awardees who they would like to publicly recognize for going beyond the norm and performing sacrificial service to others. The response has been tremendous!
The dinner will include a great program with a distinguished speaker, Senator Ed DeGrange who will be followed by the evening's and communities' luminaries--the Honorees!
