Opportunity Builders, Inc., (OBI) and the Friendship Civitan Club invite the community to their 14th Annual Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Glen Burnie Bowl America. The cost is $25 to bowl and includes two games, pizza, soda and fun with friends and family.
If you cannot make the event consider sponsoring; sponsorships start at $75.

The Bowl-A-Thon benefits OBI and the Friendship Civitan Club. In 2001, OBI partnered with the Civitan Club of Glen Burnie to form the Friendship Civitan Club. This club enables OBI program participants to give back to their community through service projects, such as collecting food to give to local food pantries, designing flower arrangements to take to the elderly and creating gift bags for returning service members at the airport.

Opportunity Builders, Inc. is in its 49th year of operation. The organization provides vocational training and employment services to 425 adults with developmental disabilities. The goal is to offer these individuals the opportunity to be productive, contributing citizens and to help them achieve personal fulfillment and foster independence.
