Open Call Model Search at Arundel Mills

Here's your chance to strut your stuff on the catwalk and take part in a high-energy fashion event.

Arundel Mills and The BANY Agency are looking for female models ages 8 and up during an open call model search for the fashionable kick-off to Arundel Mills’ "Celebrating Women," a month-long national initiative to honor and empower women. 

This inaugural event will showcase trends from popular Arundel Mills retailers, recognition of female "Role Models" from Fort Meade and guest host, Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan.

"Arundel Mills is thrilled to provide models of all ages with this opportunity to gain experience and exposure," said Wendy Ellis, director of marketing and business development at Arundel Mills in a press release. "This is one component of our Celebrating Women initiative, which recognizes the talents, abilities and passions of women from throughout our community with a variety of meaningful events."

Those interested can visit Arundel Mills’ Fashion Court near Last Call by Neiman Marcus on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or Saturday, Sept. 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. They must bring a headshot photo printed in 8.5” x11” paper, a full length photo printed on 8.5”x11” paper and a completed registration form.   

Models cast for the show will attend two rehearsals on Oct. 2 and Oct. 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. before walking in a full scale runway fashion show on Oct. 5. Selected models will also receive training with representatives from The BANY Agency, have the chance to be signed to the agency as a working model and participate in a meet and greet with Miss America before the fashion show.
