Rock The Block Community Outreach at Marley Station

Music will be rocking Marley Station with a positive message.

The Cave, an area Christian club, is bringing its Rock The Block Area Outreach to Marley Station Mall on June 4, 2011. Rock the Block aims to reach the youth of this area through live bands and entertainment.

"This is an exciting outreach where we can positively reach out to the youth and give them something positive to do," says Freddy Flanagan, the leader for the Cave.

Rock The Block is an ongoing series that will be held at venues throughout the year.

In the morning of June 4, teams will canvas neighborhoods, helping the community with cutting the grass, picking up trash and washing cars. It's all to show how important the community is and how it is important to give back.
