- A traffic stop in the Heritage Hill area prompted officers to conduct a probable search of the occupant's car. CDS (controlled dangerous substances) consisting of marijuana, crack cocaine and heroine was found and immediately seized. Both occupants have been arrested and charged accordingly. - If you are distracted, driving aggressively or speeding, you just may get a citation! Traffic safety officers hand out citations during enforcement detail on Ritchie Highway. Recent crashes are the reason for this action to be taken. (First Alert/Facebook)
- A.A. County school board has approved funding to give raises to school bus drivers and attendants. County Executive Steuart Pittman must still approve the plan. But, there is potential for a $5/hour wage increase. (Fox 45 News)

- The Maryland Chamber Foundation is honored to be one of six local and state chambers to host the first pilot National Civics Bee competitions in May 2022.
