Georgia Man Found With Loaded Gun, Drugs In MD: Police
A routine traffic stop in Glen Burnie resulted in the discovery of a loaded Glock .22 pistol and suspected CDS, according to police.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers uncovered a loaded Glock .22 pistol and suspected CDS during a traffic stop Tuesday in the area of Elvaton Road and Hospital Drive. An officer pulled over a black Chrysler 300 and detected the smell of marijuana in the vehicle, according to a police report. The driver was detained and the vehicle was searched.
The following items were recovered:
- Loaded Glock handgun
- 55 capsules of heroin
- 56 Oxycodone pills
- 120 grams of marijuana
- Multiple plastic baggies
Zachary Darnell Queen, 28, of Georgia, was arrested in the incident.
