Giant Confirms Odenton Store Opening

Giant Food Stores tells Patch it will open a store at Odenton Shopping Center later this year or early in 2016.

The 60,492-square-foot grocery store is under construction on Annapolis Road.

Retailers already located at the center include Advanced Auto Parts, Dollar Tree and Five Guys.

“The addition of Giant to Odenton Shopping Center provides a much-needed, high-quality grocery store to the Odenton market,” COO Pete Federowicz of developer Nellis Corporation told the Baltimore Business Journal. “Nearby residents will finally have the diverse and fresh options that a full-size Giant supermarket offers.”

Giant operates more than 150 stores throughout Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

The closest Giant stores at this time are located in Glen Burnie and Crofton.
