Glen Burnie Couple Assaulted In Home Invasion: Police
An Upper Marlboro man faces robbery charges for allegedly breaking into a Glen Burnie apartment and assaulting a resident.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie couple was held up at gunpoint and a man struck in the face during a home invasion Thursday, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The break-in and attack happened about 5:10 p.m. in an apartment in the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie.
Police officers spotted a male suspect armed with a handgun running from the apartment. A search by several officers of the area, including canine and a police helicopter, found the suspect running between houses and he was taken into custody without incident. Police and the two robbery victims identified the man as Terrell Tyrone McDonald, 27, of the 13900 block of Bishop Request Road in Upper Marlboro.
The victims say McDonald forced his way into their apartment, struck the man in the face, and pointed a gun at them while demanding money, police charge. When he was not given money, McDonald fled the apartment.

As a results of the assault, the male resident suffered facial injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The female victim was unharmed.
McDonald was charged with home invasion, robbery, and assault.
