Glen Burnie Health Center To Provide Free Flu Vaccines

A walk-in clinic on Jan. 14 will allow county residents to get free FluMist®, a nasal spray flu vaccine, from 3 to 7 p.m.

As part of the county's ongoing effort to provide free flu vaccines, the Glen Burnie Health Center will host a special clinic on Monday afternoon offering nasal spray flu vaccines.

No appointments are needed for the clinic, which will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Monday. According to the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, the FluMist® spray is for healthy people from 2 to 49 years old and squirted directly into each nostril.

Flu shots, along with nasal spray vaccines, are administered weekly at the Glen Burnie Health Center on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
