Glen Burnie House Fire Displaces Two Residents: Officials

The fire broke out in the kitchen and spread to the living room, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A fire broke out in the kitchen of a Glen Burnie home shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday. The kitchen in the home, located at 1302 Tarrant Rd., was damaged as was the adjacent living room. It took the 36 responding firefighters less than 10 minutes to put out the fire that was reported by the home's occupants and neighbors.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and remains under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting the two displaced residents.
