Glen Burnie Man Arrested After Robbing Gas Station: Police

The man pulled a knife on a store employee after being confronted about stealing store items, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 32-year-old Glen Burnie man was arrested after Anne Arundel County police say he stole items from the Shell gas station in Linthicum and pulled a knife on a store employee. According to the police department, the incident occurred Dec. 31 at approximately 3:30 p.m. A store employee reported seeing the suspect, later identified as David Carroll Hall, stealing items.

When the suspect left the store without paying for the items, the employee followed him and confronted him. That's when Hall pulled out a knife and charged at the employee, a police report stated. The employee returned to the store uninjured. Officers searched the area and found Hall, who had the knife in his possession along with items from the store. Officers also recovered a wallet and cell phone from Hall that were stolen from a vehicle Dec. 20, the police report noted.
