Glen Burnie Man Charged With Impaired Driving: Police
The Anne Arundel County police officer had the driver perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — On Wednesday at approximately 8:30 p.m., an Anne Arundel County police officer spied a black Honda being driven erratically in the area of Ritchie Highway and Aquahart Road. The officer pulled over the vehicle and believed the driver to be impaired, according to a police report. The officer had the driver perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed.
The officer also searched the vehicle and found a 9mm Polymer 80 Glock 26 handgun and 23 suspected Adderall pills, the police report noted. The driver, 21-year-old Nathan Young Stanley of Glen Burnie, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, weapons violations and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
