Glen Burnie Man Shot After Family Fight: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 27-year-old Glen Burnie man was shot and killed in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue Saturday at approximately 10:45 p.m. Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a call about a fight at that address, but when they arrived, they found Fillmore James Burris lying dead in the street.

According to a police report, an investigation revealed Burris had been in an argument with family members before he was shot. While fighting with family members, three other men approached them and shot Burris. The three men took off on foot.

The incident remains under investigation.
