Glen Burnie Residents Sound Off on Snowplowing

GLEN BURNIE, MD—As of 8 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Maryland has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought over two feet of snow to towns across Anne Arundel County.

No travel ban was issued for Glen Burnie throughout the storm, but Governor Larry Hogan is still urging residents to stay off the roads while crews get to work.

We asked Patch readers in Glen Burnie how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what they said:

  • “ What plow? We haven’t seen one”
  • “Plow? Did someone say Plow? Have not seen one of those. I am on Delmar Ave.”
  • “We won’t see a plow for days if we see on at all live on Beaghan Drive off Marley Neck..”
  • “No one can get up the hill on our street there are a couple of people with trucks and they keep getting stuck.”
  • “No plow in Glenwwod. Too many cars parked on street!”
  • “What’s a plow?”
  • “ No plows off Spencer.”
  • “Plow?? What plow!!!”
