Glen Burnie Shooting Hospitalizes 17-Year-Old Girl: Police
A Glen Burnie teen was shot and hospitalized, police said. Detectives think this was a targeted shooting.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A teenage girl was shot and hospitalized Thursday in Glen Burnie, police said. Officers expect her to survive.
Authorities heard about the shooting in the 6000 block of Harris Heights around 4:05 a.m. Police said they found the 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to her torso. An officer gave the victim first aid until medics arrived and took her to an unnamed hospital.
Detectives think this was a targeted shooting, not a random act of violence. Authorities are still investigating.
