Grab the Sunscreen! Maryland, Virginia, DC to Get Hit with 'Heatwave'
Oh, warmth: How we've missed you. Anne Arundel County should hit the 40s this weekend -- enjoy it while it lasts.
OK. So, we won't exactly be walking on sunshine, but at least the weather in our region will finally let us stop huddling in clouds of despair.
After a deep freeze that seems to have lasted — What, 10 years? —temperatures fit for humans are making their way into Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.
The weather wizards are predicting increasingly warm temperatures, peaking in the mid-40s on Sunday. Then, you guessed it, some freezing temperatures return — with a chance of snow again on Monday.
The Weather Channel forecast says Anne Arundel County will hit a high of 38 on Friday -- at least it's above freezing -- then climb to 40 on Saturday and 46 on Sunday.
Highs early next week drop back to the upper 30s with chances for snow and freezing rain.
