Halloween Homicide Resurfaced In Glen Burnie, Police Offer $10K Reward For Tips: Officers

Officers resurfaced a Halloween homicide. Police offered a $10,000 reward for tips on the two-year anniversary of the Glen Burnie shooting.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police on Sunday resurfaced an unsolved Glen Burnie homicide that happened on Halloween two years ago. Authorities offered up to a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction.

Officers identified the victim as Michael Lee Wise, 24. Police said they found the victim lying on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Gatewood Court on Oct. 31, 2019 around 7:20 p.m.

Medics pronounced him dead on the scene and noted his upper-body trauma, an incident report stated. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds in a homicidal manner.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department has investigated leads since then. The agency thinks there are still witnesses who have not spoken with authorities.

"We understand that over time relationships and loyalties change," officers said in a press release. "Anyone with any information is strongly encouraged to come forward. Your information could assist in giving closure to Mr. Wise's loved ones and getting a murderer off of our streets."

Informants can also conceal their identities by using the P3 Tips mobile application or visiting metrocrimestoppers.org.
