Hit-And-Run Driver Sought After Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Glen Burnie: Police
A hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian in Glen Burnie, police said. State troopers are looking for the driver.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A recent hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian in Glen Burnie, the Maryland State Police said.
Troopers identified the victim as 54-year-old Delroy Roderick Ben of Glen Burnie.
The crash happened Wednesday just before 1:55 a.m. near southbound Interstate 97 at Maryland Route 648, a press release said.

Authorities don't know why the pedestrian was in the roadway. Medics pronounced him dead on the scene, the release said.
Police said the driver that hit the victim did not stay on the scene.

Investigators think the car involved was a black Audi A8 or S8 manufactured between 2010 and 2018. Stock photos of this potential vehicle are posted here.
Troopers think the car has damage to the front right corner and is missing the passenger side mirror.
The road was closed until about 4:45 a.m. after the crash, the release said.
Authorities are still investigating. The Maryland State Police asked anybody with information to call the Glen Burnie Barrack at (410) 761-5130.
