Holiday Schedule for Trash Pickup, County Offices

Most Anne Arundel County facilities, such as libraries, senior centers and the main offices, will be operating on a special schedule for Thanksgiving.

Even the government needs a day off.

Here's the holiday schedule for Anne Arundel County offices and facilities, including the schedule for trash pickup:

Trash and recycling

Wednesday and Thursday—No curbside collection and Waste Management Services facilities will be closed.
Friday—Curbside collections normally scheduled for Thursday will occur on Friday and collections normally scheduled for Friday will occur on Saturday. Waste Management Services facilities will be closed.
All county facilities will reopen on Saturday. Waste Management Services facilities include the Millersville Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility and the Convenience Centers in , Millersville and Sudley.

County offices

All of Anne Arundel County's administrative offices will be closed Wednesday as a furlough day. They also will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
All are closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
All county parks are closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
All county close at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Libraries are closed Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
