Vehicle Hits 3 People, Police Cruiser Outside Glen Burnie Bar: Officers

A vehicle hit three people and a police cruiser outside Frank's Den in Glen Burnie, police said. Officers arrested two suspects.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A vehicle hit three people and an unoccupied police cruiser Saturday outside a Glen Burnie bar and liquor store, county officers announced.

Authorities said they got a call for a large disorderly crowd in the parking lot of Frank's Den, located in the 1800 block of Crain Highway.

Police saw an altercation near a blue Honda while they were clearing the lot. Officers said they saw the Honda reverse, accelerate forward and hit three people in the group.

Authorities said the Honda then continued ahead, hit the police cruiser and pushed it forward.

The driver ignored commands to stop and continued driving, officers said.

Authorities said they took the driver, identified as 32-year-old Ashia Nicole Payne of Glen Burnie, into custody.

During the vehicular assault, police said a man tried to prevent them from stopping the female driver.

Officers said they also arrested that suspect, identified as 33-year-old Hilton Pulley 0f Pasadena.

Medics took two of the three victims to an unnamed hospital with serious injuries, authorities said. The Anne Arundel County Police Department expects them to survive.
