House, Business Peppered With Bullets In Glen Burnie: Police

Three bullet holes were found in the wall of a home and there was damage caused by bullets to an interior wall of a commercial building.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers responded to two reports of people hearing gunshot July 5. The first incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. in the area of Old Stage Road and Jonathan Court. Witnesses reported an unknown person approaching the backside of a home in the 7600 block of Hennesey Court who fired bullets at the house. Three bullet holes were found by officers in the wall of the home, according to the police department.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. July 5, officers also responded to a report about shots fired at a commercial building located in the 800 block of Landmark Drive. According to a police report, officers observed damage to an interior wall that was believed to be caused by a round of bullets. The building was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported.
