Infant Found Unrestrained In Suspected Shooter's Car: Police
According to Anne Arundel County police, the infant was found unsecured in the front seat after the suspect fired numerous shots at a car.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie man has been arrested in relation to a shooting that happened Dec. 10 at approximately 2:40 p.m. Anne Arundel County police officers responded to multiple reports about shots fired in the 6600 block of Rapid Water Way. According to a police report, a man fired several shots at a vehicle, then ran off into a nearby home. The man then ran back to his vehicle and drove off.
Officers found the vehicle and detained the driver. Officers found an infant unsecured in the front seat of the vehicle, the department noted. Officers then searched the vehicle and found a .40 caliber Glock handgun and several spent shell casings at the scene.
The baby's mother was contacted and she arrived to pick up the infant. No injuries were reported. Joshua Kevin Anderson, 39, of Glen Burnie was arrested regarding this incident.
