Here are the top stories today in Glen Burnie:

  1. Lewnes Steakhouse has been voted best in AMERICA! This locally owned steak house has been in Annapolis for 100 years. Sam Lewnes, a Greek immigrant, opened the business over a century ago and it has been kept in the family every since. (News Break)
  2. Marylanders can expect a hike in gas prices starting July 1. If nothing is done by state lawmakers, the residents can see a six to seven cent price increase per gallon of gas. Governor Larry Hogan has sent a letter to Comptroller Peter Franchot asking him to find a way to remedy this situation. (The Bay Net)
  3. The Maryland Special Olympics started this past weekend. The ceremony opened in Towson University this past Friday. Click the link to see the video. (WBAL)
  4. This past weekend high winds brought in some cooler air. This coming week the temperature will go up slightly but not to terribly high. Marylanders are used to much higher temperatures this time of year! (Fox Baltimore)
