Convenience Store Robbed, Manager Assaulted In Linthicum: Police

A Linthicum convenience store was robbed and a manager was assaulted this weekend, police said. The suspect also flashed a gun.

LINTHICUM, MD — Police announced that a Linthicum Royal Farms was robbed and a store manager was assaulted on Sunday. Officers also accused the unidentified suspect of flashing a handgun during the encounter.

Authorities said the suspect entered the store, located at 400 South Camp Meade Road, and started putting merchandise in a duffel bag around 6:30 a.m. Police reported that the manager tried to intervene, leading to the assault and the handgun display.

The male suspect then fled with the stolen items, officers alleged. The Anne Arundel County Police Department's Robbery Unit is still investigating.
