🌱 Mall For Sale + Road Rage + BWI Controlled Fire + Teens Arrested

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Glen Burnie.

(Patch Media)

Up and at 'em, Glen Burnie! Let's get you started this Thursday with everything you need to know going on around town today.

First, today's weather:

A gusty thunderstorm in the p.m. High: 78 Low: 48. Despite the threat of a thunderstorm, it's still warm out!

Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:

  1. Westfield Annapolis Mall up for sale. It was purchased in 2017 by European owners. Due to the pandemic, the mall is not doing as well as expected. (Tech StationsTech Stations)
  2. A Glen Burnie man was the victim of road rage after pulling over for a fire truck. The suspect was angry that the victim pulled in front of him instead of behind him. After a confrontation, he then hit the vehicle and followed the victim to the police station where he then fled. An arrest was made a short time later. (CBS Baltimore)
  3. Early April 13, the billowing black smoke coming from the BWI Airport was cause for some concern. Not to worry, it was a controlled training exercise. (WJLA)
  4. Three teenagers were arrested in Millersville early April 13. Police arrived at the Worth-A-Shot store on Veteran's Highway for a burglary alarm. The teens were caught trying to steal weapons from the display case. (WBAL)
