Man Charged For Robbing Glen Burnie Bank, Cellular Store: Police

Daquan Alexander Holmes, 23, of Baltimore has been arrested in connection with the two robberies, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 23-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with robbing the Wells Fargo bank at 7700 Ritchie Highway and the TMobile store at 337 Hospital Drive. Anne Arundel County police detectives believe Daquan Alexander Holmes entered the Wells Fargo bank Tuesday at 2 p.m. wearing a black mask. He indicated that he had a weapon and demanded cash. According to a police report, the bank teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and Holmes took off on foot.

While offers were searching the area looking for the bank robbery suspect, they received a call about a robbery in progress at a TMobile store. The suspect of that robbery matched Holmes' description. During that robbery, Holmes assaulted TMobile store employees while demanding cash. A woman working at the store sprayed him with pepper spray and officers were able to apprehend Holmes.
