Man Claims He Has Bomb, Demands Cash At Popeye's: Police
Brian Andre Williams, 44, of Glen Burnie entered Popeye's, indicated he had a bomb and demanded cash, but the employee refused to comply.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A man walked into the Popeye's at 7009 Ritchie Highway Wednesday at approximately 11:10 .m. and showed an employee a note stating he had a bomb, then demanded money from the employee. However, the employee refused to hand over any money and the suspect took off on foot.
An off-duty police officer in the area located the suspect and after searching the man's vehicle, it was determined that he did not have any explosive devices with him. According to an Anne Arundel County police report, Brian Andre Williams, 44, of Glen Burnie has been charged with robbery, armed robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault, threat of mass violence, threat of arson and reckless endangerment.
