Man With Knife Tries To Leave Target With Display Items: Police

Loss prevention personnel reported the incident at the Glen Burnie Target and that their officers tried to stop him.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers are searching for the man who entered the Target store with a knife March 17 and tried to leave with a rolling duffel bag that was on display with several DVDs inside it, none of which had been bought. The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Loss prevention personnel reported the incident and that their officers tried to stop him. While he was leaving, he pulled out a small folding knife from his sweater pocket and ran off toward Holsum Way. Northern District detectives are investigating the incident and ask that anyone with information call 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
