Man Robbed, Assaulted on Glen Burnie Street: Police

A man walking about midnight on Shelly Road in Glen Burnie was robbed by two men, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A man walking on a Glen Burnie street was robbed and assaulted by two men just after midnight Wednesday, say Anne Arundel County Police.

The robbery happened in the area of Shelly Road and Whitmore Court in Glen Burnie while a man was walking on Shelly Road. Police say he was approached by two suspects who asked for money. When the victim removed cash from his pocket, one of the suspects grabbed the money.

The two suspects then assaulted the victim and ran to a nearby vehicle.

The victim refused medical treatment, but did have signs of injury, police said.

  • Black man, about 25 years old, 6’0” tall
  • Black male, about 25 years old, 5’8” tall
