GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 25-year-old man was shot Tuesday at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway. The man told Anne Arundel County police officers that he was on Lamplighter Ridge when he was shot by a tall man wearing dark clothes. The victim then was driven to a Shell gas station where he called for help. The fire department transported the man to an area hospital for treatment.Northern District detectives are investigating the shooting and ask that anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to contact the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
