Man Waiting For Ride Chased After 5 Men Tried To Rob Him: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 29-year-old man waiting for his ride to work to arrive at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Ritchie Highway Tuesday at 5 a.m. reported being approached by five men who demanded cash. The victim told the suspects he didn't have any money and, according to a police report, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded cash again.

The victim then ran into a nearby restaurant and called 911. One of the suspects followed the victim into the restaurant, but then took off when he learned the police had been called, the report noted. The police are searching for the suspects.
