From my notebook:

  • Today we are celebrating "Be a dork day" and "National Give Something Away Day." I don't know about you, but I have embraced my inner "dork" and am proud of it! I plan on celebrating with my a"dork"able friends! And if you can, give something away to your favorite dork. (Holidays and Observations)
  • Are you are looking to give something away or give some of your time? Many churches and groups in the area are looking for gently used items for the needy. These same places may also be looking for some of your time to help them out. Check out the list in the link. (Resource List)
  • Being a dork simply means you are unique! And that means you need something to do that is as unique as you are! There are so many unique and wonderfully weird things to do in Maryland. Click on the link to see what possibilities await you! (Roadside America)
