McDonald's Robbery Investigation Leads To Gun Arrest

A Pasadena man was cleared of robbing a Glen Burnie McDonald's, but Anne Arundel Police arrested him for having a stolen handgun.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Pasadena man was cleared of robbing a Glen Burnie McDonald's, but Anne Arundel Police arrested him for having a stolen handgun. The armed robbery was reported just before 8 p.m. Feb. 24 at the fast food restaurant at 7960 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

Officers who arrived at the scene saw two people who may have matched the description of the suspected robbers, but investigators determined the pair were not involved in the McDonald's robbery. However one of the subjects, Antowan Banjoman Jr., 22, of the 7800 block of Levy Court in Pasadena, was in possession of a stolen semi-automatic handgun, police say.

He was arrested and charged with registered firearm: illegal possession, handgun on a person and registered firearm: stolen/sell.

Officers were unable to locate the suspects involved in the robbery. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
