MDA To Spray for Mosquitoes Tuesday

The Maryland Department of Agriculture says the insecticide is not harmful to plants, humans and pets.

The Arundel Neighborhoods Association (ANA) has announced that the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) will spray for mosquitoes from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday on the eastern side of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.

The insecticide is not harmful to humans, plants or pets, according to the MDA.

Brooklyn Park has had a mosquito problem for years, due to large pools of water in the Arundel Village Park, among other locations, said President-Elect Debbie Frank.
