Men Arrested For Unlawful Possession Of A Gun, Drugs: Police
Jody Howard King, 40, of Laurel, and Steven Thomas III, 41, of Crofton were arrested and charged with drug-related charges.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — During a routine traffic stop Jan. 29 at approximately 11:55 p.m., officers detected a strong scent of marijuana coming from the white Mercedes Benz. The stop occurred near Crain Highway and Crainmont Drive.
The vehicle was searched and officers discovered a glass pipe used to ingest CDS and a Jimenez Arms .25 caliber handgun. Both the driver and passenger were arrested. Jody Howard King, 40, of Laurel, was charged with CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia. Steven Thomas III, 41, of Crofton, was charged with the following:
