Monarch Academy holds informational sessions

Monarch Academy Public Charter School in Glen Burnie, Md., will hold informational sessions for families of prospective students in Anne Arundel County. The sessions will take place Thursdays, Oct. 16, Nov. 20 and Dec. 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Monarch Academy at 6730 Baymeadow Drive.

Monarch Academy is accepting applications for students living in Anne Arundel County entering kindergarten through eighth grade in fall 2015. Applications are available at www.monarchcharter.org and due by noon on Dec. 17, 2014.

Monarch Academy follows the Transformation Education philosophy, which infuses the school’s beliefs and values into the look of the school building, instructional approach, teachers’ mindset and behavior, and operating system.
