Mother, Grandma, 2 Men Steal Boy From His Glen Burnie Bed: Police

The 7-year-old was at his father's home in Glen Burnie. The mother turned herself in the next day. The boy was unharmed, police said.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers are seeking more information in what they say is a "parental abduction" that unfolded Oct. 15 at approximately 10:50 p.m. The mother of 7-year-old Prophet Johnson, her mother and two men forced their way into the apartment of Prophet's father and took him from his bed, then fled the scene, police reported.

The next day, the mother, Tiffany Charquita Johnson, 39, of Concord, N.C., walked into a Baltimore County Police District with Prophet and turned herself in. Also arrested was Johnson's mother Devoris Brenda Szalkowski, 57, of District Heights, Md. Prophet was unharmed and returned to his father, police said.
