CURTIS BAY, MD — Police announced that a Curtis Bay motorcycle crash hospitalized a passenger last Sunday. The unknown male driver ran away before officers arrived, a press release alleged.

The accident happened around 2:03 a.m. on southbound Solley Road before Steens Hill Drive. Authorities said the driver lost control of his 2013 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic and fell, ejecting both riders. Medics drove the 42-year-old female passenger to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore in critical but stable condition.

Authorities think driver error caused the wreck. The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating. The case number is 2021-734034.
